Romany is a Freelance Editor based in the UK.
She has 10 years experience cutting commercials, documentary and narrative films for clients such as Apple, Spotify, Google, TikTok, Conde Nast, The Guardian, Vogue and many more.

She has experience in both offline and online editing, with a specialist hybrid skill-set of both editing and motion design and often works on the end-to-end post-production process, primarily working in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. She has been featured on Edit Girls where she shared her career story.

Originally from South East England, after graduating from Glasgow School of Art she worked in-house at award winning agencies and production companies in London, including Byte/Dept, Unreasonable Studios (Anomaly) and Pavilion Works. Nowadays she works on projects across the UK and globally, working in-person or remotely from her home-studio in Bristol.

Human stories are what matter to her and she continues to collaborate on films that explore current themes in culture and society with a specific interest in women focus stories.
As someone with a hearing disability, wearing hearing aids in both ears, she always had a unique lens in which she navigates the world and this translates in her filmmaking work as well. ​​​
